Dr. Suzannia Holden received her doctorate in Clinical-Community Psychology in 2013 from the University of LaVerne. Through her education and years of clinical experiences in various diverse settings, she has been extensively trained in providing counseling through a multicultural lens. She has a strong passion for connecting with others and has made it her life goal to aid people in progressing their lives towards a positive, fulfilling, and healthy direction. To address a wide range of mental health concerns, she uses techniques that are geared towards helping her clients coexist with, not fight against, their life circumstances. Her areas of specialization includes(but are not limited to) grief and loss, resilience factors, trauma, racial/ethnic identify development, self-exploration, relational patterns/interpersonal relatedness, family of origin issues, assertiveness training, disability related issues, self-esteem, and providing support for those dealing with academic stress, adjustment concerns, anxiety, and depression. If you allow Dr. Holden to come alongside you as you learn to conquer the adversities you face, her mission will be to help you gain a deeper understanding of your concerns and ways to creating positive changes in your life.
