Lorren is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She is a Graduate of a Counseling Master’s program at San Diego State University, earning a Counseling Degree in Social Justice and Multicultural Community Counseling. Lorren comes from an integrative approach incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Theory, while integrating therapeutic arts into her practice. Lorren has years of experience serving as a Counselor to adolescents, youth, and adults, and couples. She has supported clients’ through individual hardships, stressors, and identity development, trauma including racial trauma; valuing each individual’s experience as unique. A Counselor in academic and clinical settings, she has served communities including LGBTQ+, individuals facing housing or food insecurity, black and African American individuals, and individuals facing life stress. Lorren has always been drawn to the arts, and enjoys spending time at the beach. Lorren’s specialties are: Trauma Recovery, Queer Identities, Couples Counseling, Polyamory, and Systems/Social Justice therapy.
