Dr. Shané P. Teran began her mental health career in 2005 as a Child Welfare Caseworker in Columbus, OH and spans over 15 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, clinical administrator, addiction specialist Psychotherapist, and Organizational Development Psychologist within the private, government, and non-profit sectors. With over 11 years of experience in federal healthcare (in Ohio and California), Dr. Teran expand her clinical reach within the Los Angeles County by opening up a private practice in Downtown Los Angeles to civilian workforce populations. She now serves individuals within the workforce by helping them manage workplace stress and personal growth efforts.
Dr. Teran provides an eclectic approach in caring for adult clients by incorporating a person-centered and solution-focused psychotherapy approach with cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. While fostering a Whole Health and integrative model of care, she aims to incorporate elements of the mind, body, and spiritual health needs for all those seeking work-life balance.
