Lauren earned her Master of Social Work from California Baptist University in 2023 and is working toward full licensure under the supervision of a licensed clinician. With over 15 years of experience across community-based and clinical settings, she has supported youth, justice-involved individuals, veterans, beauty professionals, and perinatal clients. Before becoming a therapist, she served as executive director of a nonprofit in New Orleans, Louisiana, that provided safe, expressive spaces for adolescent girls. A role that inspired her to pursue clinical training and deepen her impact within the community.
Lauren’s therapeutic approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and rooted in strengths-based and holistic frameworks. Her clinical experience is diverse from having worked for the LA County Department of Mental Health with clients with severe mental health diagnoses to working with at-risk youth in the community, in public education, and in private practice. She has training in a host of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Trauma Informed CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic, EMDR and solution focused therapy.
